Apprenticeship - Welder\u002F Fabricator (Boilermaker)

Start your career with a small family business & receive hands on training to be part of the next generation of welders & fabricators. 

We are seeking highly motivated 1st year apprentices for our workshop based in carole park. 

Being specialists in waste equipment you will learn all about the different sizes & designs of Hook skips, Skip bins, Frontlift bins, Compactors & barrels, and a variety of other products, you will learn what they are, what they are for and exactly how to build them efficiently while learning valuable trade skills.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Ideally but not necessarily be 16-21 years old
• Demonstrate the ability to work well with others
• Demonstrate the ability to follow instructions & learn
• Have full Australian working rights
• Have a reliable source of transport ideally your own license & car.
• Some welding experience would be hugely beneficial.

We offer either a 4 or 5 day work week, and well above award pay rates and you will not need to travel for Tafe as we bring teachers onsite for all theory work. Candidates will be on a trial period initially before commencing trade sign up.
