About the Role:

Huntermotive requires an experienced Account Manager/BDM to join our high-volume Corporate Department. This role will require 12-month team leading for maternity coverage for our Head of Corporate with long term opportunity to develop and grow your own portfolio. 

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

Team Leader (12 months):

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Fleet and Corporate Department.
  • Lead and manage the department team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
  • Ensure department targets and goals are met or exceeded.
  • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and planning.
  • Address and resolve any customer or operational issues within the department.
  • Represent the Fleet Department as required in internal and external meetings

Business Development and Management:

  • Maintain existing major FMO Accounts and Corporate Accounts to achieve sales targets, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prospect and Develop New Business
  • Maintain and Grow Existing Relationships
  • Maximize Divisional Profitability
  • Portal Management - including following Leasing Company requirements for portal management; Checking all deals in the pipeline against manufacturers’ details and submitting reports to leasing companies 
  • Sales Process Administration - Attend fleet meetings to discuss delivery timing, daily activities, and other company and manufacturer news; Liaise with other departments to ensure high levels of recognition, organization, and service for fleet customers; Coordinate with the Used Car Department regarding trade-in valuations and disposal; and Ensure vehicles are pre-delivered to the highest possible standard.

Skills and Experience:

  • Prior experience in a sales position with KPI’s will be highly regarded but not essential. 
  • Self motivated with a drive for personal development
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Ability to work both individually and within a team
  • Ability to negotiate and close sales including building and maintaining a client base
