Job Description: We are seeking skilled and reliable Traffic Controllers to join our dynamic team in Alice Springs. As a Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for directing traffic, setting up and dismantling traffic management plans, and ensuring the safety of all road users at various job sites. Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage traffic control plans on various job sites.
• Direct traffic flow using stop/slow bats and hand signals.
• Monitor and maintain safety for road workers, drivers, and pedestrians.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and site personnel.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report any issues.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.
• Complete required paperwork 
• Complete site hazard assessments and implement control measures to suit the site 
• Report on site hazards and near misses 

Requirements:

• Must have current Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control certifications TC1/TMI1 & TC2/TMI2 or equivalent WZ1 & WZ2.
• White Card (General Construction Induction Card).
• Drivers Licence
• Previous experience in traffic control is preferred but not essential.
• A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and nights.
