Scaffolder Required

WMA is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scaffolder to join our team and help build our company. As a Scaffolder you will ensure that all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards and regulations. This position will be full time for the right candidate. Hourly rate is dependent upon the individuals experience. 

WMA is a sister company of Wilmoore Allstone which is a family-owned Stonemasonry company with over 15 years’ experience in building beautiful and intricate stone homes.

Responsibilities

  • Help coordinate daily scaffolding operations- including erection, rotations, and dismantling
  • Conduct pre and post-scaffolding inspections to identify potential hazards, defects or non-compliance within safety regulations and take the appropriate actions to correct these
  • Liaise with the Scaffolding Supervisor to ensure works meet the project requirements
  • Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise during the scaffolding operations
  • Willing to assist the team when required
  • Promote a positive and safe culture with all staff, contractors and clients

 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience as a Scaffolder within the construction industry
  • Extensive knowledge of scaffolding systems, components and safety regulations, preferably specialising in residential projects
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Scaffold ticket
  • White Card
  • Working at heights
