School Cleaner

Intrepid Cleaning are seeking experienced school cleaners to join our team on a part time basis for different sites across south of the River, specifically the areas of Bull Creek and South Perth.

The successful applicant will be available Monday to Friday from 4pm-10pm and have their own transport.

Description of the role:

• Cleaning classrooms including common areas and staff and student’s toilets.
• Vacuuming and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and disinfecting bathroom fixtures and replenishing consumables.
• Emptying bins and removing rubbish.
• Applying appropriate chemicals to remove stains and dirt.
• Reporting any maintenance issues.

 

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in cleaning schools/offices (minimum 1 year)
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with school staff.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good time management skills with the ability to adjust to changing workloads.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to show initiative and problem solve. 
• Must hold or be willing to apply for a Working with Children Check card.
• Must hold National Police Clearance
