Your New Role 

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be tasked with a challenging variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Processing general data entry 
• Full functional accounts payable
• Processing fortnightly payroll 
• Invoice processing
• Overdue invoice follow-up 
• Resolution of invoice discrepancies
• Provide support and general assistance to the Finance team members.
• Making necessary adjustments within the internal Systems and SAP
• Assist with troubleshooting across multiple departments
• Payment preparation
• Assist with month end close
• Assist with preparation of BAS return
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Support other areas of the organisation as required

About you

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Successfully completed a Bachelor of Finance or Commerce and / or previous experience in an accounting role.
• Exposure to SAP advantageous
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritise and multi-task
• A proactive, professional demeanour, with strong interpersonal skills
• Personable disposition with resilience
• An ability to work with a broad range of people from diverse backgrounds
• A self-starter who is able to use initiative to provide creative solutions 
• Ability to adapt to new processes and systems quickly
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong understanding and knowledge of foundational accounting
