About the Business

LB Concrete Solutions is a thriving developed business undertaking commercial and industrial structural concreting packages within the commercial sector throughout Melbourne. 

Since business began in 2015, our workforce has grown significantly. We now employ approximately 60 skilled and dedicated employees who have chosen fields of expertise varying from concrete placement to steelfixing, formwork, machine operations and everything in-between. 

We also have a fantastic team of office-based staff whose diligence and vast knowledge of the construction industry allow us to take on a range of both structural commercial and industrial projects with confidence. 

We are looking for self-motivated person(s) with experience in formwork carpentry and all rounder works for raft slabs to join our growing team. LB Concrete Solutions undertake projects in schools, aged care, car parks and multi storey apartments.
 

Requirements & Skills Formwork Carpenter/Structure All Rounder

• Must have experience with all aspects of raft slab concrete works - detailed excavation, slab preparation, formwork, steel reinforcement & concreting
• Must have Working with Children's Check & all relevant tickets
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Be physically fit and able to perform manual work 
• Able to be an integral part of the team
• Have the ability to accurately read all types of construction plans
• Take responsibility for allotted tasks, a good work ethic and have pride in the completed job
• Experienced in use of associated machinery, tools and care thereof
• Solid understanding of OHS Procedures, and compliance with Industry OHS Procedures
• Working alongside sub-contractors to ensure safety, quality, program are up to standard and report deficiencies to the Site Foreman
• Hold a General Safety Awareness Card - Red / White Card
• Driver's License and own transport is essential

The work is never the same and varies from day to day. Experience is certainly required but attitude is key, the right candidates must have a pro-active, can-do attitude and above all must be a team player. Projects will be in line with the EBA hours of work and located in Geelong and Melton.
