We are currently looking for an experienced electrician with their contractor’s license or nominees’ qualification. 

About your role:

Our College of Electrical Training is currently looking for a Trainer & Assessor to assist in our electrical contractor’s course. We’re looking for someone to join our team on a part-time or casual basis, with the possibility of transitioning into full-time work. This role has flexible hours and can be a hybrid role, with the option of working remotely however, when required you may need to travel to our CET campuses in Joondalup and Jandakot. To be a successful Trainer & Assessor, you will need to have an in-depth knowledge of the electrical industry. 

 

Our Trainers and Assessors are required to be working towards or hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment however, if you do not hold this qualification, this is not a problem, and we will pay any out of pocket course fees. 

 

This role will be responsible for marking, assessing and providing feedback to our clients who are completing their electrical contractors course at CET. 

What you’ll need to succeed:

Essential:

  • Be a qualified Electrician
  • Hold a Contractor’s license/ nominees qualification
  • Be willing to obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Current driver’s license
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to show initiative and be proactive 
  • Passion for mentoring others 
  • Moderate to high level of computer skills
  • Access to internet when working remotely

Desirable:

  • Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
