Electrician

About the role

J.G. Catterall & Co. is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team in Bayswater, VIC. This full-time role will see you responsible for providing high-quality electrical services to a range of industrial, commercial and residential clients all over Melbourne.

What You'll Be Doing

• Undertaking a wide variety of electrical installation, maintenance and repair tasks such as
  -Security lighting repairs, LED upgrades, and Fault finding
  -Industrial scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs
  -Small domestic alterations
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant electrical standards and safety regulations
• Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong client relationships

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

• A valid Victorian A Grade Electrical License
• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Ability to pass a Police Check
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test (Note: This is not part of the interview process, but some of our clients require random testing onsite)
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Not Essential, But Highly Regarded:

• Scissor Lift License
• High Risk Boom Lift (Over 11m) License
• PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience
