We are seeking an experienced Senior Butcher 🥩 to join our Halal retail outlet in Brunswick, Victoria. This part-time role is perfect for someone with expertise in beef 🐄 and lamb 🐑 cuts, who enjoys an early start and the opportunity to finish their day by midday.

About the Role:
As a Senior Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing the shop’s windows each morning, ensuring everything is set up to meet customer demand, and managing stock to cover the day. Once your tasks are complete, you’ll have the rest of the day free to enjoy! This role offers a great work-life balance while contributing to the success of a high-quality halal butcher shop. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and display premium beef and lamb cuts in the shop windows each morning 🥩
• Ensure additional stock is prepared for the day to meet demand 🛒
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards 
• Provide excellent customer service, including guidance on halal meat selection 
• Ensure high standards of quality, presentation, and halal compliance throughout the day 

About You:

• Proven experience as a butcher, with strong knowledge of beef and lamb cuts
• Experience working in a halal butcher shop is essential 
• Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels and daily prep 
• Detail-oriented and committed to quality 
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 
• Looking for a part-time role with early start and finish
