At Levande, we are committed to creating exceptional living environments for our residents. We are currently seeking an experienced Gardener to join our team at Levande Pine Lake in a permanent part-time capacity. This role requires availability to work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

About the Role

As a Gardener, you will play a key role in ensuring that our village grounds remain well-maintained, safe, and visually appealing. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing a range of gardening activities, including mowing lawns, trimming garden edges, watering, propagating, pruning plants, and mulching.
  • Undertaking routine maintenance of the village’s grounds, gardens, and outdoor areas to uphold high presentation standards.
  • Responding promptly to gardening requests and projects in accordance with company procedures.
  • Managing rubbish bin placement and waste disposal tasks.
  • Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in gardening or grounds maintenance.
  • A strong understanding of horticultural practices and plant care.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks effectively, and maintain high standards of presentation.
  • A customer-focused mindset, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage positively with residents and colleagues.
  • Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move up to 15kg.

Experience in retirement living, schools, public spaces, or similar environments will be highly regarded.
