Jet Couriers is seeking a Fleet Allocator to join our expanding team in Northmead, Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fleet Management: Oversee fleet operations including dispatching, vehicle allocation, and route optimization for same-day and ad-hoc courier services.
• Driver Oversight: Supervise and assist drivers with route planning and real-time issue resolution.
• Warehouse and Depot Operations: Manage load/unload operations, forklift use, and freight handling.
• Work Allocation: Strategically allocate work across the fleet to ensure efficiency and meet customer deadlines.
• Client & Driver Support: Address queries from drivers and clients to ensure operational efficiency.
• General Administration: Handle necessary administrative tasks related to fleet and warehouse operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• MUST HAVE experience in Same-Day Courier Operations or Ad-Hoc Fleet Supervision.
• Strong knowledge of Fleet Management Systems and logistics.
• Dispatching and route optimization skills with an ability to think quickly under pressure.
• Knowledge of Sydney’s Road network.
• Full working rights in Australia (Citizen or permanent resident).
• Current drivers and forklift licenses.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Team Player with a positive attitude and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Logistics Management experience.
• Experience using Fleet Tracking and Inventory Management systems.
• A strong work ethic and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
