Elite Elevators Corporation seeks an experienced Service Lift Technician to join our growing team. The role involves servicing TKE German-engineered low-rise elevators consisting of hydraulic and traction lifts installed in residential and boutique commercial settings.
 

Key responsibilities include performing scheduled preventative maintenance, fault finding, troubleshooting, and maintaining lifts to meet manufacturers' standards.
 

About the role

We are seeking talented Lift Technician to join our growing team! Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of documented lift industry experience and will demonstrate the ability to perform the following duties.

 

Service Lift Technician Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance on residential and boutique commercial elevator systems.
  • Diagnose, fault find, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and repair or replace faulty components
  • Implement system improvements to meet manufacturers' standards
  • Translate non-technical customer descriptions into accurate diagnoses
  • Present professionally and provide clear usage instructions to residential customers
  • The role involves occasional travel to Interstate and regional areas.
  • Work independently and manage service calls efficiently
  • Use company iPad to update site status and maintain information flow
  • Manage parts in company vehicle and allocate parts to jobs and restock
  • Document and report all faults, consult and resolve with engineers on complex issues.
  • Participate in After Hours On-Call Roster (approx.1 week per month on-call)
  • Ensure correct and accurate reports of activities and works carried out

 

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • NSW Electrical License (mandatory)
  • Full Australian working rights (mandatory)
  • Electrical Trade qualification (A Grade)
  • Advanced electrical knowledge and fault-finding skills
  • Understanding of hydraulics and traction systems
  • Mechanical experience and competence.
  • Lift industry experience
  • Current driver's license
  • White Card certification
  • Working at Heights certification
