Job description:

Working closely with the Facilities Caretaker, this position will work across multiple sites, locations including Burpengary East, Caboolture, Bells Creek. A full time, permanent opportunity, Monday to Friday.

Be part of the ever-growing facilities team, who help to promote a positive environment in Stockland Halcyon's communities, through the on-going maintenance of the gardens, grounds and general facility's needs.

About the role

  • Responsible for maintenance of the common area gardens and grounds
  • Maintenance of facilities and equipment
  • Cleaning of recreation and common areas
  • Ensuring the environment is safe for both staff and homeowners
  • Oversee on-site security
  • Other ad hoc, general tasks as required

About you

  • Experienced in landscaping and/or garden maintenance and support, or may have studied Horticulture/Landscaping (or similar) but not essential
  • Demonstrated experience in general maintenance
  • Background working within a community/lifestyle environment such as retirement living, caravan parks, resort facilities, schools, motels/hotels would be an advantage
  • Comfortable working across multiple sites and hold a current driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle (mileage will be covered)
