Responsibilities

As a Diesel Fitter, you'll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of heavy vehicles including prime movers and trailers. You’ll be working in a well-equipped workshop with a supportive team that values safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship.

Duties will include, Diagnose, repair, and service heavy diesel vehicles, including engines, drivetrains, and trailer components

Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults

Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards

Keep accurate service records and reports

Your Profile

What our client is looking for

Qualified Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent)

Proven experience with prime movers and semi-trailers

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

HR or MC Licence (desirable but not essential)
