The Role
We are seeking a Fire Alarm Technician / Electrician to join the team based in Sydney to assist with service repair works.
With a focus on service and repairs, this role would support our growing service team while also assisting as required with the delivery of the fire alarm work requirements of the business, including test, inspection and repair as well as installations.
Relevant technical, supervisory, operational, customer support and reporting roles, associated with the delivery of such works will form a large part of this role.
Key Competencies
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a pleasant phone manner
A strong knowledge of fire alarm/EWIS system programming, fault finding, repairs and maintenance is required, as well as an overview of the relevant Australian Standards
Ability to work unsupervised in a team environment
An understanding of the relevant Australian Standards
Strong time and workload management skills
Electrical license preferable
Reliable, self-motivated and well presented
Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Excel and office-based databases
Be willing to undergo a national police background check
The successful applicant will have a solid work ethic and strong understanding of fire alarm systems.
