Vacuum Truck Operator

Southern Liquid Waste is a family owned business looking for a new full time HR Vacuum Truck Operator to join our team and operate our MR & HR Vacuum Trucks. Our HR truck can tow a pig trailer, so HC licnece will be a bonus. We operate in the liquid waste industry, as such the day to day duties include but are not limited to pumping out septic tanks, treatment systems, grease traps, J120 Oily watse and occaisonally portaloos.

Our yard is based in South Nowra, with overtime as required during the week and minimal to no weekends usually. Occasional early starts are required for grease trap servicing runs. We service the Sholahaven, Wollongong, South-Western Sydney, Southern Highlands and Eurobodalla regions.

The successful applicant must :

• Be reliable, punctual & strong problem solving skills

• Be able to work unsupervised

• Be able to pass police checks incase of defense works

• Have a white card

• Reasonbly fit

• HR licence minimum, MR licence will be considered based on prior experince with Vacuum trucks or experinece in the liquid waste industry.

• Willingess to Upgrade licence to HC

• Good communication skills & Customer Service

Prior knowledge of vacuum trucks and septic tank systems is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
