Westpoint Autos has been a leading automotive dealership in Brisbane since 1988. Home to Nissan, Hyundai, Isuzu UTE, Mahindra, GWM, LDV, SsangYong and Suzuki and one of the largest dealer used car operations in Brisbane.  Westpoint Autos has 12 sites strategically located in Indooroopilly, Moorooka, Darra, Springwood, Browns Plains, Hillcrest and Beaudesert. 

About the role

Due to our continued growth, our Corporate Administration team based at Darra, requires an experienced Credit Controller/AR Officer on a full-time basis.  The applicant will be required to take the full reign of our accounts receivable and credit control functions.  

Our diverse range of automotive franchises include new vehicle OEM, authorised service and repairs, 4WD/Off Road, Caravanplus one of the largest used car operations in South-East Queensland.

This will be a demanding position ideally suited to an experienced Credit Controller capable of handling a multitude of tasks and a large number of clients. The successful candidate will possess a strong ability to apply strategic and analytical thought coupled with exemplary accounts receivable and credit control knowledge as well as the ability to follow strict processes. 

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Responsibility of the end-to-end Accounts Receivable and Credit Control processes for multiple companies
  • Timely collection of customer account payments within strict specified terms
  • End-to-end reconciling of numerous Accounts for up to 12 separate legal entities
  • Preparation and distribution of Statements for multiple entities
  • Attend to debtor enquiries - email and telephone
  • Other ad-hoc administrative duties as required

Essential to your success, you will require the following skills and attributes:

  • Solid experience in a high-volume Credit Control function
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to multi task
  • Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
  • Exceptional reconciliation skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Willingness to drive continuous improvement
  • The ability to work as part of a team, contribute ideas and knowledge share
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
