About the Role

We are currently sourcing a Sprinkler Fitter to join our CQ Team based from our Mackay premises. The position is a hands-on role pertaining to the service and maintenance of essential services including fire detection and suppression systems across various industries.

You won’t need mining experience previously, particularly just a keen interest to learn, hold a Sprinkler Fitting Trade Certification and QBCC Licence.

Total Fire Solutions will provide all successful candidates with flights from Brisbane to Mackay, shared company houses and a daily tax free meal allowance.

Experience and Qualifications

• Sprinkler Fitter Trade Qualifications
• Willingness to learn the mining industry
• Excellent workmanship, reliability, attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
• A high standard of safety and a commitment to continual improvement 
• An ability to work independently with a high level of communication and customer service skills.
• An ability to prioritise and arrange service tasks and accurately complete service-related documentation.
• Manual Drivers Licence

Desirable (or ability to obtain prior to starting):

• Current Standard 11 
• Current Coal Board Medical
• Provide First Aid Certification
• FPAS certifications
• QBCC Licence
