Ventia has an exciting opportunity for experienced and qualified Instrumentation Electricians, this position will be FIFO from Perth with the shutdown commencing on the 4th of April & 1st of June.

Shutdown dates:

• Pre shutdown - Commences on the 4th of April (12-hour days) 2/2 Roster
• Main shutdown - Commences on the 1st June (12-hour days) 2 week duration

Interstate applicants

• Ventia will cover paid flights from Perth to Barrow Island (only)
• Candidates to be available in Perth for PPE collection prior to mobilising
• Candidates to complete paid online inductions prior to mobilising

• Casual Rate $82.80 per hour
• Casual Rate $93.15 per hour night shift
• Travel allowance $160 per/swing

About Ventia:

Ventia is seeking experienced & qualified Electrical and Instrumentation technicians. This casual role will see you working FIFO out of Perth as part of the Barrow Island Turnaround team on Chevron's 2025 turnaround (TAR 112) and as opportunities arise to join future shutdowns, campaign maintenance and frontline teams.

What you'll need:

Essential

• Certificate III or IV in Engineering - Instrumentation
• WA unrestricted licence
• White card
• EEHA valid within 3 years
• CPR/LVR valid within 1 year

Desirable

• Rope Access certification
• High Voltage Operation

What you will bring:

• Experience in electrical maintenance and fault-finding activities
• Experience in Instrumentation maintenance, calibration and isolation
• Experience with hydrocarbon production systems and associated hazards
• Basic understanding of gas compression and power generation systems
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment
• Safety - first mindset following safety protocols and hazard procedures
