Apprentice Locksmith

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to commence an apprenticeship as an Apprentice Locksmith at David Carr Locksmith & Security, a well-established and reputable provider of locksmith and security services in Bondi Junction, NSW. As an Apprentice Locksmith, you will receive comprehensive training and support to develop the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified Locksmith. This full-time position offers a structured career pathway and the chance to learn from experienced industry professionals.

What you'll be doing

Assisting experienced Locksmiths with the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide range of locking systems and security devices

Learning to diagnose and troubleshoot lock and security issues

Gaining practical experience in key cutting, programming and other locksmithing techniques

Completing relevant training and coursework to obtain locksmithing qualifications

Providing excellent customer service and support to residential, commercial and industrial clients

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment

What we're looking for

A genuine interest in and aptitude for hands-on technical work

Good problem-solving and attention to detail skills

Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities

A willingness to learn, adapt and take on new challenges

A valid driver's licence (desirable)
