Autoleague has an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Accountant / Senior Accountant who is looking to take the next step in their career. 

 

About the Role:
Based in our Maddington Toyota dealership, you will part of the team who manages the financial operations across multiple entities within our group.

As Dealership Accountant, you will support the Financial Controller in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, while also assisting with the leadership of the dealership’s administration function. You will need to be a sharp thinker who is able to juggle multiple priorities and have sound analytical and interpretation skills. 

Responsible for month end processing, overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing valuable insights to drive the dealership's growth and success. 

Your key responsibilities include: 

• Financial Management: Oversee daily accounting functions including AP/AR, balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. 

• Cash Flow Management: Assist with the daily cash flow management and forecasting to support day-to-day operations effectively. 
• Support year-end reporting and audits

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the administration team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. 

You 

• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. With 3+ years in an Accounting/Finance Role

• Outstanding written and oral communication skills 

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 

• Proficient in all facets of accounts function to trial balance/BAS returns 

• Highly analytical and organised with very strong attention to detail 

• Working knowledge of the Automotive industry.

• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
