Consequently, we are seeking experienced HV Jointers to join our team.

Qualifications & experience

• Certificate III ESI Distribution - Cable Jointing

• Unrestricted Electrical Licence (desirable)

• Construction Card

• Drivers Licence (C Class)  

• CPR/LVR & First Aid

• Confined Space Entry

• Working at Heights – within 2 years (desirable) 

• HRWL – WP (desirable) 

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical 

• Commitment to Safe Work Practices

• BESS experience preferred

• Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously

• Owns a car and willingness to travel from Perth to Wagerup.

Tasks and Responsibilities

-Cable Jointing and Terminations: Perform MV and HV cable jointing, including MV terminations, within the Project's specified standards and safety guidelines.

-Installations and Maintenance: Install, splice, and terminate HV and MV cables as per project specifications, ensuring proper alignment, insulation and connections.

-Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular testing and inspection of cables to identify potential faults, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

-Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair faults in HV/MV cables, taking corrective action to prevent downtime and maintain efficient operations.

-Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to site safety regulations.

-Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including job reports and test reports, maintaining accurate records of work performed and equipment used.
