About the role

Hurst Constructions is seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to join our team in Adelaide, SA. As a Carpenter, you will play a vital role in the construction and renovation of residential and commercial properties, contributing to the success of our growing business. What you'll be doing

• Constructing, installing, and repairing various wooden structures, such as framing, flooring, roofing, and cabinetry
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient project completion
• Utilising a range of power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble wooden components
• Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to coordinate the completion of projects
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all safety protocols
• Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any client concerns promptly

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in Carpentry or a related trade, such as a Certificate III in Carpentry
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Carpenter, working on both residential and commercial projects
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and technical drawings
• Skilled in the use of power tools and hand tools, with a keen eye for detail and quality workmanship
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to overcome challenges on the job
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all relevant safety regulations
