Due to continued company growth and a strong pipeline of future projects, Fairbrother is looking to recruit several new Carpenters to join our Launceston team in a full-time permanent role

The Role:

As a carpenter in the Fairbrother team you will be someone who takes pride in the quality of your work, embrace a challenge, and excels in juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. For this role you will be fully qualified, have your own tools, and a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.

Joining Fairbrother as a Carpenter, you will display the following attributes:

• Commercial / Residential construction industry experience. Leading hands required to have 5 years minimum experience within the role.

• The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a small team.

• Proactive, organised, prepared and focused .

• Collaborative nature that is approachable and proactive.

• Superior time management and ability to meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills, both written, verbally, and active listening.

• Rapport building with a variety of stakeholders.

• Lead by example .

• An unwavering focus on safety and quality standards.

To be successful, the candidate will display:

• Full working rights in Australia.

• Certificate III in Carpentry (mandatory).

• A current driver’s licence.

• Construction Industry White Card.

• Working Safely at Heights.

• Own tools.

• Own vehicle.
