Join yourtown’s ID&T team as the Solutions Architect to shape the future of our IT landscape. In this role, you'll design and deliver innovative, practical, and cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions that not only meet current demands but also align seamlessly with our overarching organisational and enterprise strategies. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, you’ll gain deep insights into their challenges and requirements, enabling you to craft infrastructure frameworks that drive efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.
In this role you will:
• Work closely with key stakeholders to uncover their business needs, shape technical solutions, and ensure they align with customer expectations and evolving IDT capabilities.
• Develop and present impactful business cases and solution designs that align with strategic goals, mitigate risks, and offer clear, actionable recommendations.
• Design solutions that are flexible, scalable, and future proof, ensuring they are modular and adaptable to changing needs. You will guide project teams throughout each phase, promoting alignment with best practices, policies, and industry standards.
• Drive architecture projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Play an active role in refining internal processes, sharing insights, and shaping best practices to continually enhance yourtown’s architectural capabilities.
what we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you will:
• Extensive experience in solutions architecture and expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline is considered highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and integration frameworks, with the ability to assess and oversee IT components for seamless implementation and approval.
• Skilled in engaging and managing diverse stakeholder groups, ranging from line managers to executives, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment.
• Highly proficient in strategic planning, expert project management, and maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Exhibit excellent organisational skills, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal skills to engage and influence key stakeholders effectively.
