SA Crash Auto Body Repairs (Hendon SA 5014) is seeking a skilled Motor Mechanic. As a Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of vehicles, ensuring they are kept in top condition and running smoothly. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Task & Responsibilities

Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed.
Test vehicle systems and components to diagnose faults in engines and parts.
Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts.
Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.
Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired.
Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
Provide excellent customer service and advise customers on recommended repairs

Qualification & Experience

Formal qualifications in Automotive Technology/Mechanics, at least at Certificate III level
Minimum 1 years of experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment rewards given.
Good customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly
