The opportunity:

As a Groundsperson, you will help deliver a high standard of park presentation, whilst enhancing the aesthetics of the grounds of our property. You will also have opportunities to add your own creativity and imagination to our amazing property. Enjoy the work life balance with early starts, and early finishes while still completing a 38 hour work week. Shifts range from 5:00am to 5:30am starts to 1:30 – 2:00pm finishes, with a 11:30am – 12:00pm finish every 5th shift based on business needs.

Your day to day:
•   General landscaping and garden maintenance
•   Mowing, hedging, spraying and general labouring duties
•   Operation, maintenance and cleaning of tools and machinery
•   Early starts with early finishes.
•   Following all policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for team members and guests

What you’ll bring:
•   Certificate III in Horticulture highly desirable
•   Demonstrated experience in a similar position with a knowledge of horticulture
•   A current manual drivers licence highly desirable
•   A current bobcat, excavator, back-hoe, truck licence or tractor driving experience is advantageous
•   A high level of understanding and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety
•   Must be physically fit, physical requirements include but are not limited to: carrying, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing, twisting
•   Must be able to start at 5:00am and work on any days including weekends and school holidays
