EARN $30-40 per hour + super + overtime + monthly RDO 

Overview of Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for qualified Flexographic printers to join our team at Acacia Ridge, QLD. You will be directly responsible for the running of a flexographic printing press. You will be part of a team who are on a journey to out-perform and meet our customers’ needs through manufacturing excellence and innovation. 

• Day Shift:  Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm

The Flexographic Printer will be responsible for:

• Operating print presses safely and efficiently - maximising speed and quality whilst minimising downtime, whilst maintaining the highest level of quality assurance.

• Meet or exceed production standards for output and setup allowance

• Communicating issues as they arise within and between shifts

• Engage in and promote Continuous Improvement 

• Print trouble shooting and other print related tasks

• Printing trade assistant duties when required

• Ink technician tasks when required

• Mounting printing plates on the new FAMM when required

To be successful in this role you will ideally have or be:

• Ability to safely operate the printing press and other plant and equipment 

• Strong colour aptitude and eye for detail

• Good numeracy skills

• The ability to work as part of a team

• Good communication skills

• Ability to troubleshoot and be clear under pressure

• A strong quality background and ability to perform quality checks

• Ideally a minimum of 3 (preferably 5+) years hands-on printing experience in a manufacturing environment, with high-speed machines.

• Proven problem-solving ability and a good level of mechanical competence.

• Sound experience with interpreting, then delivering on production plans.

• Knowledge of Quality, Safety and Environmental standards as well as Good Manufacturing Practice.

Hourly rate will depend on skills and experience for the right individual.

These roles are full-time, permanent positions based in our Acacia Ridge Site.
