ABOUT THE ROLE

We are offering a Full-Time Position for an experienced FORKLIFT FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers forklifts remain in excellent working condition, servicing the Sydney Metropolitan and Surrounding Area. You will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance, repair and servicing of all forklifts. As a certified FORKLIFT FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN expert you will provide fast and accurate repairs using cutting-edge technology and provide our customers with efficient and high quality solutions to ensure forklifts stay operational. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Deliver and Maintain a Professional Level of Customer Service 

• Communicate Effectively and liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on Forklift Care, Maintenance and Operation

• Diagnose and repair a various range of Forklift Models and Components, including Hydraulic Systems, Electrical Systems and Engines

• Perform Scheduled Maintenance and Inspections to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate

• Using the latest cutting-edge technology to assist your diagnostic daily work schedule 

• Accurately maintain detailed Service Records of all Work & Parts used and performed by you 

• Collaborate with the wider Service Team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

• Comply and Adhere to all Workplace Health and Safety Procedures and Environmental Regulations

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Must reside in Sydney NSW or willing to re-locate from elsewhere in Australia. Please Note:

• (WE ARE NOT HIRING INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS)

• Available To Strat Immediately 

• An Australian Unrestricted Drivers Licence

• High Risk Forklift Licence (desirable)

• Proven Experience as a FORKLIFT SERVICE TECHNICIAN (preferably in a field-based role)

• Experience with Servicing and Repairing a various range of Forklifts and possibly other Mobile Plant equipment

• Experience with LPG Systems (desirable but not necessary)

• Relevant Mechanical Qualifications in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, with a focus on Forklift Maintenance and Repair

• Strong Mechanical Aptitude with diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve a wide range of forklift issues

• Excellent Customer Service Skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly

• Ability to Work Independently and as part of a Team

• Safety-Focused Mindset, committed to Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement
