The RPM Group has 4 core business entities/offerings, categorised into:

• Repairs & Roadside
• Wheels & Tyres
• Performance & Accessories

Due to significant growth within the Wheels & Tyres sector right across the country, The RPM Group are seeking to add a qualified and/or experienced Mechanic to our team at Vic Wide Tyre Services.

These roles will see you predominantly working on Passenger and Light Commercial Vehicles in our Dandenong South workshop and your core responsibilities will be:

• Servicing and repair of all types of vehicles, in particular logbook servicing, safety checks, brakes, front end and suspension work and dismantling and removing components for repair.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues based on observation, mechanical testing, diagnostic information and information provided by customers
• Test drive vehicles after completing repairs to ensure mechanical soundness and determine whether any further problems exist.
• Provide guidance and training to apprentice technicians
• Fitting and balancing tyres
• Rotations, pressure checks, balancing, strip & fit tyres/wheels.
• Attend vehicle breakdowns as required.
• Puncture repairs conforming to relevant standards
• Wheel Alignments of all types of passenger & 4wd vehicles
• Maintain a safe working environment by operating tools and specialised equipment correctly.
