Seeking a Professional Nanny

  

We are seeking a long term proactive and experienced nanny to support our family (3 x girls aged 12, 11, and 10 months), with a particular emphasis on our baby.

 

The primary responsibilities of this role is to respect and follow a strict routine with our baby, healthy meal preparation/cooking, household organisation including resetting all play areas after each use and keeping the kitchen clean at all times. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in a similar role and be extremely organised, warm and professional.

 

This role is based in Toorak, Mebourne, although there is also a possibility of occasional family travel (a Mornington Peninsula property and various domestic/overseas travel) if this interests you - not strictly required however.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare healthy, balanced meals for our baby and occasionally the evening family meal when needed.
• Maintain pantry organisation.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen.
• Maintain household tidiness and organisation.
• Keep track of household essentials/supplies and ensure restocking as needed.
• Keep on top of laundry/washing clothes
• Assist with packing and unpacking for family travels.
• Provide occasional care for the children as needed

 

Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years in a similar role (nanny, family assistant, childcare or household manager, a keen interest in healthy cooking).
• Must be extremely reliable.
• Be highly organised, proactive, and able to multitask.
• Must be warm, professional, and adaptable to a dynamic household.
• Comfortable and experienced with babies.
• Willingness to adjust working hours based on family travel and commitments.
• WWCC (Working with children check)
• National Police check
• Excellent contactable references
• Start date is flexible, but no later than during April 2025.

 

Job Conditions:

• Competitive salary, based on experience
• Hours (approx. 22hrs a week): 
• Monday 7:40am-1:40pm
• Tuesday 8:30am - 1:30pm
• Thursday 8:30am - 1:30pm
• Friday 7:40am-1:40pm
• Superannuation & annual leave
• Travel expenses covered when accompanying the family.
