Task & Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical parts of vehicles including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and test drives
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Repair or replace worn or defective parts
• Maintain accurate service records
• Ensure vehicles comply with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet operational targets
• Assist with fleet quality control and condition reporting

Qualification & Experience

• Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant full-time work experience post-qualification
• Sound diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Current driver’s licence
• Experience working on a range of vehicle makes and models preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
