About the Role:

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive mechanical repairs, be reliable, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in light vehicles.
• Conduct regular vehicle servicing, maintenance, and inspections.
• Identify and repair engine, transmission, and other mechanical faults.
• Use diagnostic tools to assess and rectify vehicle performance issues.
• Perform brake, clutch, suspension, and wheel alignment repairs.
• Conduct road tests to ensure proper functionality after repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Ensure all work meets safety and manufacturer standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

• A minimum Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or a related qualification.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Motor Mechanic.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and customers.

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work full-time (38 hours per week).
• Legal work rights in Australia.
• Ability to meet occupational health and safety requirements.
