Task & Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle servicing including oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and other regular maintenance tasks.
• Conduct brake maintenance, including brake pad replacement, rotor resurfacing, and brake fluid flushing to ensure safety and performance.
• Perform engine tune-ups, including spark plug replacement, ignition system checks, and fuel system cleaning.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in light vehicles, including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical systems.
• Perform suspension work, including shock absorber replacement, suspension component repairs, and alignment adjustments to ensure vehicle safety and handling.
• Perform transmission work, including repairs, replacements, and servicing of manual and automatic transmissions.
• Conduct all motor work, which may include engine rebuilds, valve and piston work, timing belt changes, and other comprehensive engine repairs.
• Complete vehicle repairs and services in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and provide accurate repair estimates.
•  Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Keep the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs and offering recommendations for future maintenance.
• Ensure all vehicles are returned to customers in a safe and roadworthy condition.
• Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
