The Role We are looking for a Bridal Dressmaker / Tailor to join our team.

Australia's largest dry cleaner is looking for TWO skilled alterations / clothing repairs specialists for our stores at Fortitude Valley and Toowong.    Toowong: 6 hour shifts x 3 per week Fortitude Valley: 6 hour shifts x 3 per week   You'll be performing a variety of clothing alterations and repairs including, but not limited to: take ups, let downs, hem repairs (regular and blind), zipper replacements (regular and invisible), lining repairs, patching and more.    The role is purely alterations and some customer service, and you won't be required to do any dry cleaning.

Prea James Bridal is looking for an experienced bridal couture or high-end fashion sample machinist/ dressmaker to work from our Sydney head office in Alexandria, NSW.  The right candidate will be working alongside our wonderful team of in-house seamstresses as well as working closely with the design team, making our bride’s made-to-order gowns from both our core collection and also our demi-couture range of high end gowns, as well as working on new design development.  We are looking for a senior machinist with experience working with couture techniques, luxury fabrications and finishes, who understands how to read patterns and can both follow a sample but also come up with new ways to construct garments during the design development phase.
