About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team at ARMORMAN 4X4' in Campbellfield, VIC. As a full-time or part-time role, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial accounting and reporting obligations. What you'll be doing

• Preparing and analysing financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounts
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and other financial regulations
• Providing financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient accounting practices

What we're looking for

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar financial accounting role, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
• Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and adaptable approach
