We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Qualified Technician to join our service team at Bayside Skoda.

To be considered for this role, the following skills and attributes are required:

Previous Mechanical Servicing experience with relevant trade qualifications
Sound English communication skills
Initiative and a hard working attitude
Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
A friendly and approachable personality

Skoda servicing experience is a strong advantage.

Task & Responsibilities

Diagnose and Repair: Identify mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment; perform necessary repairs and adjustments.
Maintenance Services: Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including batteries, wiring, and lighting.
Engine Performance: Test and repair engines and engine management systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Qualification & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technician certification preferred.
Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
